Μ.Ι.Τ. (MINIMAL INJECTION THERAPY)
The new natural, harmless and very effective way of treatment to alleviate or prevent pain and inflammation.
ACTION MECHANISM AND EXPECTED RESULTS
The Μ.Ι.Τ action mechanisms are:
- Regulatory action on the cell membrane and deactivation of the neural system resulting in the disruption of the field of disturbance and restructuring.
- anti-inflammatory action, mainly by affecting the neurotransmitters
- activation of the endocannabinoid system
- strengthening tissue perfusion
- relaxing trigger points
- effect on the immune system
Expected Results
The M.I.T. method affects muscles, tendons, and joints, as well as the autonomic and peripheral central system along with brain connection, while it also affects the endocrine system.
The purpose of the M.I.T. method is to give healthcare professionals the knowledge to help restore patients’ health in a regulatory and anti-inflammatory way with almost zero side effects through a more specific and moderate way of choosing treatment points.
The significant improvement of the patient’s condition, such as, for example, a reduction in pain, a sense of euphoria, improvement of the existing problem, is immediately felt during the session.
WHAT IS Μ.Ι.Τ?
The M.I.T. is a method created by Dr. Bouchelos Ioannis, who is a holistic doctor, health coach and organizational systemic coordinator.
It refers to the use of topical anesthetics (mainly procaine, and others) not to induce anesthesia as usual, but for therapeutic purposes in several cases of pain or inflammation. The method also relies on the injection of vitamins and homeopathic medicines. The technique of acupuncture can also be applied alternatively at some trigger points.
M.I.T. is based on Neural Therapy, but with the incorporation of elements of Jean Pierre Barral’s osteopathy (Advanced Visceral Manipulation) in terms of how to diagnose and select treatment points, based on the principles of respect for the messages communicated through the body, simplicity, and clear structure.
Μ.Ι.Τ TECHNIQUE AS IS BEING TAUGHT
The M.I.T. technique consists of 4 stages:
General Listening (diagnosis of the part of the body to which the doctor must be directed in order to apply the next step)
Local Listening (diagnosis of the specific area, differential diagnosis between functional and structural-organic disturbance, diagnosis through the nerve tone of the tissues or based on the electromagnetic field (myo-thermally)
Induction (insertion of the syringe needle to the appropriate point where the limit is exceeded and listening stops)
Injection (application of micro-injections to key points with a specific direction).
Infusion points:
- Topically
- In the same segment
- At key points in an extra-postpartum field of disorder
A field of disorder is defined as any area of the body that due to its condition (usually scar, trauma, or chronic inflammation) can lead to the destabilization of the autonomic nervous system and the appearance of symptoms in another part of the body.
INDICATIONS AND CONTRA-INDICATIONS OF Μ.Ι.Τ USE
Indications
The method can be used to address the following:
- Chronic inflammation in general
- Neuralgia

Contra-indications
The method should be avoided in the following cases:
- Allergy to a topical anesthetic (replacement with another)
- Coagulation disorders
- Cardiac arrhythmias or heart failure
- Myasthenia gravis
- Malignant tumors
- Fractures
- Infectious diseases
Limits
In cases of irreversible lesions based on the body’s self-regulating potential, and significant pathomorphological alterations, M.I.T. may be used again but only as a support mechanism. In other cases, it used therapeutically.
TO WHOM IT IS ADDRESSED
Learning the method of M.I.T. can be found to be very useful for:
- Doctors
- acupuncturists or physiotherapists who practice therapeutic methods without burrowing the skin.
How will they benefit?
There are many chronic diseases that are treated but not fully cured by modern medicine, while feeling the body with toxins in the long-term. M.I.T. offers the possibility of substantial restoration of patients’ health by providing regulatory and anti-inflammatory solutions without almost any side effects.
